shells & cheese soup

Shells & Cheese Soup

3/4 onion chopped
2 Tbls. butter
6 C. water
8 bouillon cube
20 oz. frozen broccoli (1 head fresh)
5 garlic cloves chopped
4 C. milk
1.5 # Velveeta
8 oz. shell pasta
2 cooked bnls. chicken breasts (optional)

Saute onion (and chicken) in butter.  Bring water, bouillon cubes, and add other ingredients to a boil until cheese is melted.  Add broccoli and pasta last - boil until desired tenderness of noodles and broccoli.
