Hamballs

Ham can be expensive, but I buy it when I can find one (or four) for $1.00/lb and it makes four or five meals for us.   I have made this before, when I couldn’t find affordable ham, substituting an extra pound of ground pork instead of ham.  It works out well and still tastes great!

HamBalls

1 # ground ham
1/2 # ground beef
1/2 # ground pork (or Jimmy Dean sausage)
2 C. crushed graham crackers
2 eggs
1 C. milk

Combine all ingredients and form into balls.  Place hamballs on brownie pan or in 9×13 cake pan.

Sauce:
1 C. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1/2 C. Vinegar
1/2 C. water

Mix together on stovetop and heat until sugar dissolves.  Pour over meat and bake at 375 degrees for one hour, uncovered.
